Sue Richey

Sue manages the real estate sales operations and helps our agents with sales and rental transactions. Sue has been a licensed Realtor since 1998 and has worked extensively in the Northern Virginia market. She is also responsible for marketing efforts for Richey Property Management.

Craig Richey » COO, Owner

Craig Richey

Craig oversees the daily management operations and staff to ensure all owners and tenants are well taken care of. He is always working to improve processes, procedures and service to ensure all our clients receive the highest level of care possible.

David Buckingham » Director of Company Operations

David Buckingham

David has been a large part of the leadership team since joining Richey Property Management in 2018. He oversees the daily operations of the company. He is an expert in the field and his oversight, ideas, and leadership have paved the way for growth of the company and development of the staff. David works closely with the team to improve overall operations and our client experience. In his spare time David enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, watching/ attending sporting events, fishing, walking the W&OD trail, and vacationing at the beach!

Geoff Clopton » Director of Property Management

Geoff Clopton

Geoff is the Director of Property Management and leads the property manager team. Geoff has been in the property management industry for over 15 years. He has led offices and consulted with other property management companies. Geoff has been in real estate for over 20 years and has his Associate Broker license in the DMV and his MRP Certification. Geoff is also a notary public in VA and DC. Geoff lives in Springfield with his wife and 2 children. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, traveling, cooking, and coaching his kid's sports team. Geoff enjoys giving back to the community. He and his family foster puppies on the weekends that are put up for adoption with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. Geoff is a member of the Springfield/Mt Vernon Chamber of Commerce and serves as a board member for the Northern Virginia NARPM chapter.

Calvin McGettigan » Business Development Manager

Calvin McGettigan

Calvin will be your initial point of contact when you reach out to Richey Property Management. He will take the time to discuss what we offer and help you determine what property management services you need. Calvin came to us from a hospitality background. He has brought an excellent customer service attitude to Richey Property Management, which we are pleased to have embraced throughout the organization. In his spare time, you can find Calvin either playing or coaching youth soccer. He is also an avid supporter of the Special Olympics.

Bill Cahill » Onboarding Manager, Realtor

Bill Cahill

Bill works with new owner clients to successfully lease their properties and onboard them with the Richey Management team. He is a licensed Realtor in Virginia and DC with ten years of property management experience along with prior service as a Marine Corps engineer and a member of the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force. When he isn't providing high quality customer service and professional real estate services to our clients, he is hiking with his family, watching college football, and volunteering as a firefighter.

Philip Jonkers » Property Manager, Realtor

Philip Jonkers

Philip is a Property Manager and Licensed Realtor. A Northern Virginia native, Philip first started working in the real estate field in 2002 after graduating with a BS in Management. Growing up he was able to see many of the developments and homes being built here in the County touring on Sunday outings with his family. He has worked as a transaction coordinator, a sales agent and property manager. Working with clients and tenants is part of the job that Philip enjoys most. When not in the office Philip enjoys spending time with family and friends and running the neighborhood with his Boxer.

Tom Mulkerin » Property Manager

Tom Mulkerin

Tom is a licensed realtor and helps our clients with property management, selling and buying. He has been assisting real estate clients in Northern Virginia since 2002. Tom has fond memories of growing up as “military brat,” while his Dad proudly served in the U.S. Marines. Tom was born in Hawaii, and grew up in California, Okinawa, Japan, and Virginia. A graduate of West Springfield High School and Old Dominion University, Tom moved to Reston in 1990, after marrying his high school sweetheart, Ruth.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys volunteering in his community. He served on the Reston Association Board of Directors from 2019 to 2022, and more recently became involved with Reston Strong. For over 20 years, Tom has been a volunteer usher at Wolf Trap’s Filene Center, as well as The Barns of WolfTrap. When not working, Tom enjoys floating out back on Lake Thoreau, walking the Reston trails with his dog, Franz, and cooking plant-based meals.

Danielle Nery » Property Manager

Danielle Nery

Danielle is a Property Manager with Richey PM and has been working in Property Management for over 12 years. When she is not working in the office, she volunteers on Saturdays at a local school, works in her backyard, or travels. Her best vacation memory is a trip to Alaska, where she camped, hiked, and kayaked for 14 days with no one around and no phone service. She can tell you many wild stories about grizzly bears and baby whales.

Katherine Brooks » Property Manager

Aidan Gray

Katherine has over 3 years experience in the Property Management industry and joined Richey Property Management 2024. During this time she has taken on many different roles within one company, showing her ability to adapt to change while providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with tenants and owners. She is excited to continue her Property Management experience with Richey Property Management and take on new challenges in her role. She is currently pursuing her real estate license to expand her knowledge and further her professional development in the real estate field.

Katherine majored in English at James Madison University and continued to live in Harrisonburg after college and gained professional experience in University Administration, Community Management, and Property Management. She and her husband recently relocated to the Northern Virginia area to pursue better job opportunities. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family in her spare time.

Mariana Marquez

Mariana establishes and maintains positive relationships with owners, tenants, and vendors to ensure their satisfaction. She delivers exceptional customer service and addresses concerns and inquiries promptly.

She is fluent in Spanish, a team player, and enthusiastic to assist her clients in anything they may need. She is striving to obtain her Real Estate License to broaden her expertise and skills, marking the start of her professional journey as a Realtor. In her spare time, Mariana enjoys exercising, spending time with her family, and baking.

Colin Richey » Realtor, Sales and Leasing Manager

Colin Richey

Colin is a licensed Realtor and helps our clients with Leasing, Selling and Buying. Colin is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a double major in Finance and Real Estate. After working in financial consulting, Colin decided to join the family business and bring his strengths to help Richey PM. He has worked in many areas of the business but truly enjoys marketing and helping clients get their properties rented or sold and helping connect others with the right home. In his spare time, there is a good chance you will find him at a DC United game.

Roberta Burns

Roberta is a seasoned property management professional focusing on accounts payable. She ensures all owners and vendors are paid out accurately and on time. She believes that processes and procedures form a strong foundation for consistent quality work. When not in the office Roberta loves spending time with her family, hiking, and reading.

Diego Zeron » Leasing Support

Diego Zeron

Diego is part of the support team that assists our Leasing team and Realtors. Diego is a graduate of Texas A&M, class of '09, with a Bachelors's in Economics. He has been working in the customer service and information technology industries for over 10 years and joined Richey Property Management in 2019. Diego enjoys gathering, organizing, and presenting information for multi-level company processes as well as providing support to company projects and tasks. He likes to spend his weekends with the family in the great outdoors, either fishing or hiking a scenic trail!

Rachel Hitchcock » Leasing Assistant, Real Estate Photographer

Rachel Hitchcock

Rachel collaborates closely with our agents to ensure a seamless leasing process from start to finish. She brings a wealth of experience in real estate photography to the table, having been an integral part of our photography team since 2020. Her enthusiasm for interior and architectural design, combined with her photography skills, has allowed her to develop a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics, enriching the quality of our property presentations. Rachel holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Michigan State University, specializing in Media Photography. Rachel's diverse talents and passions make her a valuable asset to our team, enhancing the way we showcase and lease properties. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and dog, gardening, and taking long walks around Capitol Hill.

Kim Lawhorn » Realtor

Kim Lawhorn

Kim Lawhorn is wife and mother who has been working in Real Estate since 2013. Upon receiving her license in October 2012 and completing her post-licensing classes, Kim has had the opportunity to build her clientele by finding rentals for young couples and even a retiree. She is eager, friendly, accommodating and committed to making sure you receive the best service possible.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and minor in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University and having owned a successful retail business, Kim is highly motivated to help you with finding the right home for you. She is a member of the Northern Virginia Area Realtors and has lived in Fairfax for 15 plus years. Rental experience covers Fairfax, Reston and Sterling areas. Referrals are always welcomed.
